Project Restore is our program that provides employment opportunities to the Roma men and women we work with. It is very hard for the Roma to find employment locally, which is frustrating and discouraging for them.
The aim of this program is to provide opportunities for the Roma to earn financially for their families, while also raising their self esteem. They also learn many new skills while working on projects with FMN, such as construction and building. We encourage those in the program to additionally develop things like strategical thinking and problem solving while working.
Sponsoring one day of work for a Roma costs $30 which also includes a meal for them to eat. Days of work can be sponsored either one time or on a monthly basis.
